The Volcanoes of Oregon - an illustrative infographic by Washington state Artist Elizabeth Person.
Here they are... the most significant volcanoes of the Cascade Mountain Range in Oregon: Hood, Jefferson, Three Sisters, Newberry, Crater Lake, McLoughlin! The Cascade Mountains are a chain of volcanoes that stretch all the way from British Columbia to Northern California. Each volcano is identified by a portrait, elevation, coordinates and location within Washington State. Two are caldera (collapsed) volcanoes, a reminder that we live among living, volatile peaks.
The piece also features four tree species native to our area: Ponderosa Pine, White Western Pine, Douglas Fir, and Western Larch.
This is an archival print on high-quality smooth watercolor paper.
